I DO hope that developers include Farnworth's ailing market in their multi-million pound revamp of the shopping precinct there.
The market has been targeted by vandals and needs upgrading and securing.
Local markets provide a useful, traditional service which continues the unique flavour of individual areas.
The same argument has been made about Bolton Market Hall, and it's a true one.
And if we do end up with some sort of compromise development to keep our market traders there, I hope they take a quick look outside the Hall at the same time and reinstate the toilets.
Now that IS something Bolton town centre urgently needs.
