LITTLE Nathan Daniels stands proudly next to his sunflower - that is three times his size!
The four-year-old planted a seed in his back garden, in Woodvale Avenue, Great Lever, next to big sister Michaela's.
But eight-year-old Michaela's sunflower only reached three feet while Nathan's flourished - up to 10 feet and five inches. It is the first time the Lever Edge Primary School pupil has grown a sunflower.
His dad Paul said: "Michaela has been planting seeds for the last three years but not with this success! Nathan is thrilled; the flower is nearly double the height of our garden fence!"
