PEOPLE in the North-west appear to be unwilling to improve their quality of life through leisure learning.
Research carried out by adult education website www.waytolearn.co.uk found that 72 per cent of people don't want to enrol on hobby-related leisure learning courses - even though 67 per cent saw recreational courses as the key to a better life.
The website also discovered that 61 per cent of people in the region feel leisure learning can improve their job prospects, while 77 per cent believe it will boost their social life.
