Shildon 0 Radcliffe Borough 2: RADCLIFFE Borough won through to the FA Cup third qualifying round with a deserved 2-0 victory in Wednesday night's replay at Shildon.
Two second half goals gave them a home tie against Moor Green a week on Saturday.
Borough controlled most of the game, but it was not until four minutes after the break that they opened the scoring. Steve Foster was brought down by the keeper and he coolly slotted home the spot kick himself.
Borough were content to let Shildon come forward and the visitors' defence rarely looked like being breached, while they also posed a threat on the counter attack.
The clincher came after 78 minutes, when Lee Duffy combined well with Richard Battersby, whose teasing cross was headed powerfully home by Phil Donney.
Borough could have added to their tally, but will look back on a job well done.
Borough take on Matlock Town away on Saturday (ko 1pm).
