A 75-YEAR-OLD woman is still recovering in hospital after she was allegedly dragged several yards along the ground during a robbery.
Joyce Bradburn, of Kearsley, suffered a dislocated shoulder, fractured jaw, broken arm and cuts to ber face which required stitches.
She remains in the Royal Bolton Hospital where her condition is described as stable.
The pensioner was standing at a bus stop in Manchester Roasd, Kearsley, on Sunday, September 24 at around 8pm when the incident happened.
David Joseph Ward, aged 33, of Ivy Grove, Little Hulton, has been charged with robbing Mrs Bradburn.
He appeared at Bolton magistrates court last week and was remanded in custody until later this month.
