WE are a newly formed residents' group on the Thornhill Estate. We are at present in final talks to instate a bus service through the Thornhill estate in the NE ward of Chorley.
We are receiving tremendous backing and support from our local councillors Adrian and Marion Lowe and their team.
Our tenants' partcipation officers have steered us down the right paths to get so far in such a little time. Attached is a proposed route which is being submitted to Lancashire County Council.
Proposed route to change as follows: Turn onto estate from Harpers Lane B6229 onto Willow Road; right onto Thornhill Road; right onto Larch Avenue; left onto Northgate Drive; right, then left onto Sycamore Road; right onto Shakespeare Terrace; follow to top of street; turn left onto Springs Road; left onto Bannerman Terrace; right onto Beaconsfield Terrace; follow road to end back onto Harpers Lane B6229.
