JUNIOR badminton in Bolton got a boost from the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Ray Schofield who runs Forrest Badminton Junior Club and is also Bolton's badminton development liaison officer, accepted a cheque at Horwich Leisure Centre from the Bank's Community Cash Fund.

It was presented by the bank's David Travis and will go towards junior coaching.

The Forrest junior club has two sessions each week during the badminton season, on Sunday evenings at Horwich from 5.30pm to 6.30pm and on Wednesday evenings at the Bolton Arena from 7-8pm.
