YOUTH workers in Leigh and Wigan have been kitted out with a range of new accessories.
Street based youth workers have been given a new kit including a rucksack and outdoor jacket, a torch, personal alarm, first aid kit, flask, disposable camera, ID card, leaflets and health information and a selection of activity and games.
Positive Futures Director of Youth Development Dave Hill said: "Our street workers are trained professionals who have all the skills to do the job. We believe that the new kit will help them to do their job more effectively and safely."
