RICARDO Gardner is confident Wanderers have enough quality and experience to bounce back from their Hawthorns horror show.
Sam Allardyce was seething after the 2-1 defeat, keeping his players behind for the best part of an hour as he read the riot act in a post-match inquest.
He pulled no punches, by all accounts, but Gardner reckons it did the trick and believes the proof will come when Wanderers get back on Premiership track against Crystal Palace next Saturday.
"There was a positive response to what the manager had to say," said the Reebok Reggae Boy as he jetted off for Jamaica's World Cup qualifiers against Panama and El Salvador.
"He told us to go away and think about this game and prepare for the next one ... but he warned us that it's not going to be any easier because they are a bottom club too.
"We just have to keep our heads up and try to bounce back and Crystal Palace gives us the opportunity to get the three points, which I'm sure we will get, if we can get the basics right.
"With the players and the team we have right now, I'm sure we can do that."
