Hilton L who scored a 7-2 win on their visit to Tong C are the new leaders of Division Four which included three wins by Jeremy Rotherham and two apiece for Alan Pickard and Ron Ainsworth, with Sparkle Munroe winning the two sets for the Tonge juniors.

Bolton YMCA in second place were beaten 5-4 by Ladybridge B, with Phil Yates the unbeaten player for the winners.

Hilton M scored a 6-3 win against their K team with three wins by George Lax, two by Graham Wardle and one by Adele Spibey. Three wins apiece by Andy Sculley and Robin Llewwllyn gave Ladybridge D their 6-3 win at Tonge D, for the Tonge team the three juniors Kaine and Ryan McNicholas and Gabriella Kaye recorded their first win in League competition.
