A £2 million celebration of the unique bond between horse and human comes together in Spirit of the Horse - a New Dawn, which comes to The Lowry in April.

Europe's largest equestrian touring theatre show features more than 30 horses, Spanish riders on classic Andalusian mounts, Russia's Cossack dare-devil riders and Arabian stallions.

There will also be a demonstration of equestrian ballet, a celebration of the horse through myth and fable in movement, music, verse and prose, and opportunities to meet the animals and their riders.

Spirit of the Horse has been seen by more than a million people and the two-hour A New Dawn will greatly add to this with its new features, the Golden Age of the Horse, Extravaganza Fiesta Espanola and Middle World Odyssey, as well as new choreography and a specially arranged musical score.

Spirit of the Horse - A New Dawn will be at The Lowry on Salford Quays between April 7 and 10. Tickets are £16 and £24 with concessions available, and can be booked on 0870 1609559 or online at www.equestriantheatre.co.uk
