BOLTON School's joint production of the Broadway musical West Side Story is proving to be a roaring success as it plays to sell-out audiences this week.

Leonard Bernstein's hit show is being staged in the Arts Centre and features a cast of 70 pupils from both the Boys and Girls divisions singing such classic songs as In America and Tonight.

Steve Martin, head of music, said: "All the pupils have been at rehearsals for more than three months giving many hours to perfecting their roles".
