A FREE Fairtrade tea and coffee morning is taking place in Horwich on Saturday.
The Horwich Fairtrade Town Group is inviting people to join the town mayor, Cllr Kevan Helsby, at the Horwich Resource Centre at 10am.
The event marks the end of Fairtrade fortnight and offers people a chance to learn more about Fairtrade, taste some products and chat with friends.
Rev Mike Thomason, chairman of Horwich Fairtrade, said: "We would like to welcome as many people as possible to share a free cup of tea or coffee and learn about Fairtrade.
"Horwich is currently becoming a Fairtrade town and we need as many workplaces, retailers and cafes as possible to offer Fairtrade products."
The Fairtrade mark guarantees farmers' organisations a fair and stable price for their products, extra income and greater respect for the environment.
