A MAN charged with the murder of a Robert Johnston has appeared in court.
Ryan McLoughlin, aged 23, of Fairfields, Bromley Cross, appeared before Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday to make an application for bail.
Mr Johnston, of Levens Drive, Breightmet, died from head injuries after being attacked on Saville Street, Bolton, at 2.45am on Saturday October 16.
McLoughlin was remanded in custody and is due to appear on May 20 for a plea and directions hearing.
