THE Atherton & Tyldesley Round Table raised their glasses and raised £5,000 for charity.
The group has presented the Wigan & Leigh Hospice with a cheque for the money, which was raised from its annual Bent & Bongs Beer Festival.
The hospice aims to use the money to create two professional publicity DVDs and videos, and the Round Table's Paul Barber said: "One DVD is intended to be hard-hitting, targeted at fundraising, with the other more educational for the patient and their families.
"The second could also be played in hospitals and doctors surgeries and even linked to their websites." He said the Round Table would like to thank everyone who contributed to the festival or to the amount raised, as well as to cash already presented to Francis House Children's Hospice, Jennyruth Workshops and Childflight.
