DAISY Hill are pressing ahead with their plans to install floodlights at their New Sirs ground.
Last month the North West Counties League side received a £32,500 grant from the Football Stadia Improvement fund of the Football Foundation for the project, but this figure only represented 75 per cent of the cost.
The rest had to be found from other benefactors and club funds, while the club also received generous donations from both Westhoughton and Bolton councils.
Daisy Hill secretary Bob Naylor said: "We are indebted for the help we have received from all these organisations, but our funds now need to be replenished, and if there any companies out there willing to help, whether it be perimeter advertising or the like, then we would be pleased to talk to them."
The lights will bring the New Sirs ground up to the criteria needed for the club to stay in the NWCL and to be able to enter all the leading competitions, including the FA Vase and the FA Cup.
The club is anticipating that the work will be completed some time in April.
