IN response to Mr I G Whittle (Tuesday, March 8). Sovereignty would most certainly go with an EU yes vote!
You should read the Maastricht Treaty, and the European Constitution documents (both readily available on the internet) - they are quite clear and categoric in this respect.
Politicians of all political persuasions in Westminster are grossly misleading the British public on this subject. There are a few of us, however, who are looking at this matter in a little more depth, and we are horrified. Make no mistake, this is a national crisis of enormous proportions.
You are right in your reference to the European bogeymen, we have nothing to fear. They are our neighbours, and will remain so, but they will not rule us!
