POLICE and staff manning Copshop 2 in New Bury, Farnworth, are inviting the public to come and meet them at the nearby Community Learning Centre.
The crew of the new mobile police station, now at the junction of George Street and Moorside Avenue, want the public to get to know them at a couple of open sessions.
They are being held from 2pm to 5pm and 6pm to 8pm at the learning centre on Buckley Lane on Monday.
Copshop 2, funded by the BSAFE Safer Bolton Strategic Partnership, of which Bolton Council is a partner, opened its doors at the beginning of February and is a fully functioning police station.
It is staffed by five police officers, six police community support officers, a research intelligence analyst and a community development officer.
Copshop 2will be deployed in the area for up to six months.
