ARSONISTS are being blamed for a blaze at a Farnworth home on Saturday after an out-house storage room caught fire.
The occupants of the house in Westwood Close raised the alarm shortly before 6.45am after their house became filled with smoke.
The storage room, which was attached to the house and used to store a wheelie bin, had been torched and the bin and door of the outhouse were damaged.
Fire crews spent 30 minutes tackling the fire and managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the house.
