PETER Kay and Tony Christie's version of (Is This The Way to) Amarillo will be released as a single on Monday.
The new video for the song, made popular again after featuring in an episode of Peters Phoenix Nights series, was shown several times on Red Nose Night Live on Friday night.
In the video, Peter and a host of other celebrities, including Ronnie Corbett, Michael Parkinson, Heather Mills McCartney and Keith Harris and Orville, sing along, as Christie belts out the rousing tune.
(Is This The Way To) Amarillo was first released as a single by Christie and was a massive hit in the early 70s. Peter said: "I'm really pleased with the end result and I hope the single does do well because it is for such a good cause. We all had a good time making it." It will feature four tracks and be priced at £3.99.
l Peter appears on Parkinson on Saturday night when he surprises the audience with a rendition of the Nat King Cole classic "Love". Peter said: "I enjoyed singing on the Andy Prior Big Band Show last year and Parky suggested I be the musical guest on his show as a laugh.
