THE Institute of Travel and Tourism (ITT) has welcomed more than 60 of Travel Counsellors' top agents as new members.

The 61 Gold Travel Counsellors were officially welcomed at a dinner held at the Establishment Restaurant in Manchester.

ITT chairman Steven Freudmann said: "As Gold Counsellors they qualify for the use of the prestigious letters MInstTT after their names.

"Clearly, they all have an absolute commitment to continuous professional development and we sincerely hope that they will become involved in all aspects of the work of the Institute."

Both Travel Counsellors and the ITT hope that in time, all of the company's 470 plus agents - who all work from home - will become ITT members.
