THE hunt for the British Small Business Champion is about to kick-off.
The competition sees Lloyds TSB, the Federation of Small Businesses and The Mirror joining forces to search for successful small businesses across the UK.
The overall winner will win a tailor-made business trip to New York.
Stephen Pegge, head of communications, Lloyds TSB Business, says: "Small firms are vital for the health of the UK economy. Not only do they provide employment to millions, but they are often the source of the innovation for which this country is renowned."
The competition is open to small enterprises that have been operating for at least five years, employ fewer than 50 people and offer excellent customer service.
