RE the article in the Bolton Evening News, "Airport ban on heavy luggage".
It is very commendable that the airport chiefs are looking after the baggage handlers, but one is always suspicious when airport chiefs do something for the workers.
There is usually a hidden motive, but we will be charitable and say it's for all the right reasons.
One thing that is puzzling me.
Yes, the luggage will be checked going out, but, as anyone knows, it's always much heavier coming back - or are we saying travellers will promise not to bring back their duty free?
What are the chiefs doing about that?
If they try and stop this, World War Three will break out. I'd be interested in their plans for the coming back check.
