RADCLIFFE BORO 2, OSSETT TOWN 2: Radcliffe Borough's late run for the play-offs stalled after they gave away a two-goal lead at home to a sprightly Ossett side.
Keviin Glendon's side had won their last two games, putting themselves back in the hunt for promotion to the Conference North, and looked odds on to continue their run as they raced to a comfortable lead inside 40 minutes.
Ciaron Kilheeney scored the first, pouncing on a Steve Foster shot spilled by the keeper. Minutes later, new signing Peter Carty made it two goals in two games with an exquisite chip from the edge of the penalty area.
Stephen Price rattled the bar with a rasping drive just before the break, but Boro held firm to take a solid lead into the break.
Boro's good work was undone during a sluggish second half show, Niall McNamara scored his first goal of the season with a well judged shot from 25 yards.
He followed it up with a second when the home defence watched him stroll through on Danny Hurst's goal before sliding the ball past the helpless Boro keeper.
