A PENSIONER has denied the murder of her husband when she appeared in court.
Patricia Young, aged 65, entered the not guilty plea at Manchester Crown Court on Monday. She is accused of killing her 77-year-old husband, Neville, who died 10 days after suffering severe burns to his back.
He was admitted to Royal Bolton Hospital on August 28 and died on September 9.
Young, of Withins Lane, Breightmet, was bailed to appear at Manchester Crown Court for a pre-trial review on June 27. A trial was fixed for July 4.
