FOLLOWING on from the recent success of the thriller Silhouette and a charity fundraising event in support of St Andrew's Church at Over Hulton, Tyldesley Little Theatre is presenting Don't Dress For Dinner.
This classic French farce by Marc Camoletti has been adapted for British audiences by Robin Hawdon.
Bernards weekend in the country with his chic mistress is shattered by the presence of his wife, a cook and his best friend. Hilarious confusion ensues as Bernard and his friend improvise at breakneck speed to worm their way out of trouble.
"The show focuses more on speedy, witty dialogue than diving in and out of doorways," said director Mike Jeffries. Mike has returned to directing at TLT for the first time in ten years.
He had previously co-written the sixties-themed extravaganza Save The Last Dance, as well as taking on the role of Chairman of the society.
He was the master of ceremonies in last season's 2004 Mixed Grill, and appeared in Tyldesley's last production, the outstanding, intricate thriller Silhouette.
The show runs from Tuesday until Saturday.
