music lovers were serenaded with an evening of melodic delights on the third night of ensembles organised by Bolton Music Service.
More than 1,000 young people will be taking part in the event, which ends on Thursday night, to promote Bolton's musical groups.
On Tuesday night the audience of more than 300 people were treated to music from the Bolton Intermediate Wind Ensemble, who played a version of (Is This The Way To) Amarillo, and also the theme to Star Trek.
The Little Lever Training Choir, Bolton Beginners Brass Band, Bolton Training Strings Orchestra, Bolton Youth Flute Choir and the BMS Singers also entertained the crowd.
Jane Hampson said: "It was another fantastic performance from all our talented pupils.
"The quality of the music was impressive and we had a very appreciative audience."
Wednesday night's music comes from the Bolton Training Wind Ensemble, who are playing Beethoven's Ode to Joy and Macarena.
Also performing are Just 4 Boys, Bolton World Beat Band, Endangered Species Trombone Ensemble, Bolton Junior Youth Choir, Bolton Junior Youth Orchestra, Bolton Intermediate Percussion Ensemble, Bolton Youth Clarinet Quintet and Bolton Youth Brass Band.
