BLACKROD stretched their unbeaten run to five games with a 1-1 draw against Hesketh Bank, but they are still fighting to avoid relegation.
They started strongly and Sam Cardwell put them ahead after outwitting the Hesketh Bank central defender and goalkeeper.
But constant pressure failed to produce more goals.
Hesketh Bank revived in the second half and their left back drove in the equaliser following a corner.
