POLICE are appealing for information following a raid on a shop in Radcliffe.
Three men wearing masks and carrying a hammer, confronted two store assistants in Spar, in Moss Shaw Way, and demanded the safe be opened.
Two robbers went behind the counter and put a quantity of cigarettes into a blue and yellow duvet cover.
After discovering the safe could not be opened, the raider with the hammer ordered the staff to open the tills.
The men fled the shop through the front door.
The robbery happened at around 9.50pm, on March 12.
