ENGLISH and maths lessons took on a twist when primary school pupils took part in a murder mystery session.
The children from St Bernard's School, Ladybridge, who were helped in their lesson by Octagon actress Amy Leach as part of an "Enrichment Week" aimed at making the subjects fun to learn.
Pupils also took part in drama, puppet making, book making and poetry and produced a mural inspired by maths and problem solving with the help of local artist Jeanette Morris.
They youngsters showcased their work to teachers and parents at a special assembly. Headteacher Clare Doodson, said: "The week was fantastic, every student loved it.
"We tried out lots of new things in class, the teachers enjoyed the week just as much as the children."
