A GANG of robbers struck at a jeweller's in Manchester before crashing their getaway car, police said.
The men broke into the store on Stockport Road on Thursday and stole a quantity of jewellery before fleeing in a car which crashed in Portland Road.
The armed men then threatened a driver at gunpoint in Beresford Street before stealing his car and driving off.
