FOUR pupils at a Lancashire school were taken to hospital after apparently swallowing ecstasy pills.
The 14-year-old girls, who are pupils at Primet High School, in Dent Street, Colne, were taken to Burnley General Hospital on Thursday morning.
Pupils were called to a special assembly where teachers and police warned of the dangers of drugs.
The girls, who had taken tablets with a heart motif, were released from hospital in the afternoon.
