THERE are 57 homeless people living in Bolton, according to a charity's report.
Shelter, the charity for homeless people, says homelessness is on the increase across the country.
The charity blames the government's right-to-buy scheme with local authority homes.
It has outlined its findings in a new report, Generation Squalor.
Adam Sampson, director of Shelter, said: "Shelter's investigation uncovers the enormity of the housing crisis facing Britain today and clearly demonstrates the devastating effect bad housing can have on children and families."
