THE spectacular display flight of the rare hen harrier, or "skydancer", will hopefully be the highlight of guided walks run by the RSPB later this month and in early April.
Experts from the RSPB and United Utilities will lead a series of moorland walks in the Trough of Bowland next Saturday, and on Wednesday, April 6. There will be a £5 charge per walk with profits going to conservation work in the area.
Booking is essential. Call the RSPB's Anna Sugrue between 9am and 5.15pm, Monday to Friday, on 01484 861148 (e-mail anna.sugrue@rspb.org.uk). The safaris start at 9.30am, lasting five-to-six hours
