A NEW 10-week Advocacy Training course is being run at Bolton Community College.
The course is designed to help people represent the views and wishes of vulnerable people who may find it difficult to speak up for themselves. It is being held at the College's Deane and Derby Community Learning Centre, on Board Street, Bolton, on Tuesday evenings and leads to a certificate from the Open College Network.
Course tutor Liz Foster said: "It is just the job for people who are involved, or want to become involved in championing the rights and wishes of individuals who for a number of reasons might find it difficult to get what they want or need."
Call Liz Foster on 01204 907 370 for details.
