POLICE in Bury are holding a fun day to encourage residents to stay safe.
Participants will get the chance to visit a mobile police caravan and learn how to avoid becoming a victim of Crime.
The Crime Prosecution Service and Probation Service and Bury Council's
Class Education Services will be on hand to give an insight into their work. Children can also meet police dogs and horses, sit in a working fire engine and say hello to Bury FC's 'Robby the Bobby' mascot.
The event takes place at Philips High School, Whitefield, between 1.30pm and 3.30pm, on Tuesday.
GMP's Inspector Vincent Jones from Bury Police Station said: "Bury is an absolutely fantastic part of the world to live and work with low crime, low unemployment and a great community spirit."
