A GREATER Manchester MP leading the campaign to stop mobile phone masts being erected near schools is presenting a Bill before Parliament on Friday.
Andrew Stunell, MP for Hazel Grove, will be arguing for stricter planning controls.
Mr Stunell told BBC Manchester he wanted schools, homes and medical facilities to be safeguarded from potential radiation.
Currently, local authorities do not have the power to block phone masts which are under 15 metres.
