Wanderers are putting their weight behind a coaching initiative to nurture young talent in the Lake District.
UEFA qualified coaches from the Reebok are to work with Kendal Town and the Westmorland County FA with the aim of nurturing young local talent to establish under 12s and u14s sections to complement the existing u16 and u18s next season.
The groups will play matches against other Wanderers' backed development centres while also representing Westmorland.
Dean Grice, Football Development Officer for the Westmorland County FA said: "This will have a positive effect on our local non-league club (Kendal Town) who in effect have a ready-made centre of excellence to draw players from.
"We will hopefully see local talent breaking into the first team and, who knows, somebody from our county may get the opportunity to go on to play professionally for Bolton Wanderers."
