BOLTON Wanderers' fans were being urged to chant "where are you?" when the team faced Norwich City on Saturday.
The plea came from Bolton businessman Steve Grime, who is responsible for creating the "where are you?" ringtone, based on TV chef Delia Smith's infamous halftime outburst when her Norwich team played Manchester City last month.
Steve, managing director of Steed Media, said: "Everybody saw the Delia Smith thing. When I saw an Ant and Dec spoof I thought that it would make a great ringtone.
"After a week of chasing Delia, we finally got her to consent."
Now, mobile users wanting to personalise their phone with the memorable words, "Where are you . . . Let's be having you . . . Come on!" can now purchase the ringtone with all profits going to Comic Relief.
Steve, aged 46, of Dene Bank, Bradshaw, said: "It's memorable and fun in support of Red Nose Day."
The ringtone can be purchased by texting REDNOSE to shortcode 83149 at a cost of £2 via reverse-charged SMS plus standard operator's charged.
