SERBIAN health officials who wanted to find out about health education in the UK came to a Bolton publishing company.
The Serbian officials wanted to learn how the UK education system taught and integrated health education into schools, and work done by Manchester Road-based d2 Digital By Design was hailed as a shining example of raising health awareness among young people. The company produces health education material for teenagers, and recently won an industry award for its IMOKTA campaign, designed to help teenagers.
Graham Mallinson, managing director of d2, said that the partnership between the Serbian Institute for Public Health, Shared Learning in Action and d2 hopes to grow in the future and the company and charity hope to provide continued support to a country with a growing drug culture and lack of health initiatives.
