SEVEN police forces throughout the country carried out dawn swoops on Monday and arrested 28 people on suspicion of violent disorder after England played Wales at Old Trafford in a World Cup qualifying game in 2004.
The men were arrested in Lancashire, Cheshire, Staffordshire, the West Midlands, Wiltshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Hampshire.
It comes as security is hotted up ahead of the England-Northern Ireland World Cuo game at Old Trafford this weekend, reports BBC Manchester.
