ONE of the area's newest music venues brings one of the bands of the moment - the leisurewear-clad Goldie Lookin Chain - to Preston for what promises to be an eventful night.
53 Degrees aims to attract some of the top names in music to the area, beginning with the GLC, who recently hit the number one slot with debut album, Greatest Hits.
Eggsie, Xain, Adam Hussein, Two-Hats, Mike Balls, Billy Webb, Mystikal and the Maggot play the venue on Tuesday, May 3.
The Chain already have a successful UK headline tour - An Ounce Don't Come For Free - under their belts and the Road To Rehab jaunt around the country promises to be even bigger.
The eight-piece from Newport went from the dole queue to sold-out venues in a matter of months and have established a huge fan base all over the world. With songs like the hilarious Half Man Half Machine and You Knows I Love You , it's no wonder these guys are taking the world by storm.
Don't miss out on GLC when they hit Preston.
GLC play 53 Degrees in Preston on May 3. Tickets are £15 advance from the Students Union on 01772 893000, Action Records on 01772 258809 or online from www.see tickets.com or www.53 degrees.net or call 08712 200 260.
