IT seems like spring has finally arrived for one little flower girl who is having fun in the sun picking daffodils.
Young Tequila-Sapphire, from Moses Gate, enjoyed the spring sunshine as temperatures soared to six degrees above average for the time of year - just a couple of weeks after heavy snowfalls blanketed Bolton.
Local people have been enjoying temperatures of 16C when the average for March is usually around 10C.
Richard Wild, from Weathernet, said: "It was extremely warm this weekend, even hot in some parts of the country and temperatures have been above average for the area."
For the rest of the week, temperatures are expected to drop slightly but still remain above average.
