BURY FC supporters are keeping their fingers crossed that Friday's match proves to be a ground-filler to mark the 120th anniversary of the club.
Forever Bury, the supporters' trust, is aiming to get 100 fans for every year of Bury FC at the Good Friday match to raise attendance figures at the Gigg Lane club.
Tickets for the game are £10, £2 concessionary, and available by calling 0161 764 4881. The individual and business/organisation that manages to sell the most tickets will win a meal for two at the England v Northern Ireland World Cup qualifying game at Old Trafford on the following day, plus an England shirt signed by Gary Neville.
The trust is also inviting fans to bring jars full of loose change to the match as it attempts to, theoretically, cover the pitch in pennies. For more information, visit www.foreverbury.co.uk.
