WALMSLEY Church Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society will be performing the musical Kismet at the Walmsley Parish Hall Theatre, Egerton, from April 25-30.
This magical Arabian tale, set in the eleventh century, features beautiful songs which are based on the works of the composer Alexander Borodin, such as And This is My belovesd, Baubles, Bangles and Beads and Stranger In Paradise.
Kismet is directed by Nora Howcroft, choreographed by Barbara Martin and the society has welcomed Steve Taylor from Weir, near Bacup, as its musical director.
