FARNWORTH-born playwright Jim Cartwright's play Two will be coming to The Met, Bury, on Thursday, April 7, in a new production by Stage-Works Theatre Company.
Two is a study of a northern pub, its eccentric customers and staff. Fourteen characters - including the pub's warring landlord and landlady, an ageing womaniser, a troubled old man and a lost Elvis fan - are all played by just two actors, who during the evening take the audience through a whole gamut of emotions from misery to joy.
The show has been directed by James Masters, and is performed by Adrian Monahan and Toni Griffiths.
Tickets cost £8 (£6 concessions) and are available now from The Met ticket office (0161 761 2216) or online via http://www.themet.biz/
