EAGLEY 1, FULWOOD 1: Eagley manager Pete Darby will be hoping his side can regain their scoring form for the Richardson Cup semi final.
He saw his side squander a glut of chances on Saturday in their West Lancashire Premier Division match against the Preston side.
The Villagers started well and went ahead after only 12 minutes after Carl Grimshaw flicked the ball onto Liam Carr on the edge of the 18-yard box and his shot thundered into the roof of the net giving the Fulwood keeper no chance.
Further chances came and went for Eagley, but the visitors kept plugging away and, on 70 minutes, a misdirected header by an Eagley defender flashed across the goal and Blackwell fired home from close ranger to give his side an unexpected point.
Eagley Reserves won 4-0 away at Hesketh Bank, Tom Birchby scoring a hat trick plus a goal from Ashley Morris.
