BOLTON angler Alan Hayes made a big impression on a fishing trip to Florida's Gulf Coast.
He hit the big time on the Rotunda Canal when he landed a 56lbs grass carp which is believed to be the biggest carp ever caught on a modern fishing pole.
Alan's catch has put him in demand in fishing circles with the national angling press and tackle manufacturers showing an interest.
