BORDER collie Shane dragged his master, Les Watson, from Eccles to Bolton town centre on a sponsored walk to raise cash for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
Members of the RNLI greeted the pair, who took part in the sponsored dog walk, when they reached the town hall steps.
The walk was started at the RNLI North-west regional office in Eccles by the Mayor of Salford and was held in memory of Margaret Beahan, the daughter of supporter Mrs Dorothy Bubbings and the late Rev Charles Bubbings, a former president of the Farnworth, Kearsley and Bolton branch.
