FORMER Wanderers stars attended a tribute night in memory of cult figure and commentator Dave "Ding Dong Do" Higson at the Reebok Stadium on Wednesday.
John McGinlay, John Thomas and Tony Kelly were among the ex-players to attend, supporting Dave's wife, Barbara, who helped organise the event.
Dozens of fans packed into the Platinum Suite at the stadium where a Dave Higson t-shirt was auctioned.
It was signed by Bolton Wanderers players and the proceeds were handed to the Bolton Wanderers Disabled Supporters Association.
Dave, whose catchphrase "Ding Dong Do" became legendary among football fans across the country, died earlier this month aged 58, after collapsing in the driveway of his Morris Green home.
